Why Concrete?

But, why concrete?

Using concrete can offer a unique and customizable solution for your home or business. Concrete is a handcrafted surface popular in kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor entertaining areas, as well as in restaurants and bars.

Concrete is earthy, warm and can work in both traditional and modern settings. Concrete is also surprisingly tactile. Cast and shaped, it can feel like stone rounded by the sea. Textured and colored, it can echo the patina of timeworn tile.

Because of its adaptability, concrete finds itself welcome in all areas of the home, especially in the kitchen and bath, but also in fireplaces, patios, garden paths, or water features. Installing concrete counters is a sure way to infuse your home with a rustic yet industrial feel that's both trendy and unfussy.

Rock Solid

Few kitchen countertop materials are as bold and more durable than high-end concrete. Rock solid and hard as granite or slate, concrete can be a better fit in contemporary kitchen designs because it exudes a modern industrial aesthetic.

Concrete makes for a very durable and long-lasting surface.

Easy Care

Our Countertops have been sealed with several coats of the highest quality food safe urethane sealer that is suitable for high traffic commercial applications.  Countertop finishes are UV stable, heat and stain resistant and do not require additional monthly or yearly coats.  Routine maintenance consists of washing down with a natural, non alcohol cleaner such as Simple Green.  The finish can also be re-applied over the years for areas of high traffic areas, or can be touched up if necessary.

Custom

Modern concrete kitchen countertops are no longer cold slabs of gray concrete —more often, they are warm and gleaming surfaces that are functional and remarkably stylish.

Concrete has the ability to be shaped and formed to exactly match your kitchen dimensions and finished precisely to your liking. With other countertop materials, you are
often limited to whatever colors and styles are available,
but concrete offers you a wider range of options.
